In 2013 db+a received funding from InnovateUK (formerly the Technology Strategy Board) to develop an Automated Event Management System (AEMS). Developed with AED/Pearl & Victory Digital, this purpose-built algorithm-based online tool is tailored to the PRISMAPPRAISAL methodology specifically, but can be used flexibly in a range of situations that seek to integrate health and sustainability into urban development planning through stakeholder engagement.
It removes the vast majority of repetitive administrational actions that typically burden the staff responsible for the logistics of putting on health/sustainability-integrating events like this, such as Comprehensive HIA, while freeing both client and delivery team up to focus on the human elements.
PRISM-AEMS is currently going through the final development stages and will be ready for business in Spring 2015.
